Gay marriage will cause 900,000 abortions

According to amicus brief filed by Heritage Foundation and signed by 100 "scholars of marriage" that say gay marriage will cause 900,000 abortions if legalized.
The logic:
- legalizing same sex marriage devalues marriage
- fewer heterosexual couples get married
- larger number of unmarried women
- ABORTION BONANZA

I think fewer hetero couples are getting married anyway regardless of the legality of gay marriage.

The only thing I think you could tie to this particular stat is more baby mama's, unwed mothers, single parent households, no father figure....kind of the trend we've been on. Too much money to be had by keeping a baby vs. aborting it. 'Merica.

Jellydonut, The Heritage Foundation brief is citing the 13 year old, much discussed Fagan/Sullins research study from 2002. This is a non-story.

Why are wasting time on this in the courts?
Because everybody loves themselves some big gummint- even the "Jesus said, "WHATS SO GAY ABOUT BEIN QUEER?"" crowd
Get government out of the marriage business and then anyone can marry whoever the hell they want to
