Chris Christie said that if he were elected president
he would crack down on states with legal Marijuana laws
So much for Republican States rights and smaller government Chris

This guy might be too out of touch to be president...

So you're saying that WA and CO voted republican in the past?
Personally, I don't smoke but I think that smoking weed is probably safer than alcohol.

My point is
Republicans are NOT in favor of over reaching government
And yet Christie shows over and over again - he is
How could any republican agree to want more intrusive government
and with a smile say they're the party of smaller government
It cannot be about the safety or dangers of this drug...
all drugs are dangerous - so all drugs should be illegal..?
Failed drug policy and big government (hand in hand)
I'm forced to make this expression

Look. Christie is a product of the University of Delaware: a drug-free campus. He's just trying to maintain those high standards everywhere.

What does Carrot Girl think about states' rights? Does she even acknowledge the existence of states?

Good question Ivy,
It seems that only as a means to annoy and destabilize the federal government does she recognize states rights
Most Liberals are starting to see the light of "all whims fall under states rights" as a successful way to get the over reaching Conservative Moralists to back off and tend to their own...

I don't see him leading in many polls. You don't get elected governor in blue states without at least appearing to be middle of the road.

No conservative can.
Christie is not very conservative on many issues and he will not sniff the nomination.
The guy has yet to turn right on a single issue. On this issue, he's in lockstep with our former pot smoking President (which is a whole nother HIGH-larious hypocrisy for another thread)
