Too bad we don't have any cars getting 376 mpg like...

Too bad we don't have any cars getting 376 mpg like this is the 1959 Opel P1 experimental car got.

All things considered, if that was the case, an now we can't seem to get better than 40 mpg.. and especially when much more fuel efficient models of the same car are sold in Europe.

It's proof we're all being ripped off on purpose in this country and much of the world.

It was entered in the 1973 Shell Oil Mileage Marathon. It won by attaining 376 miles per gallon

Man in video speculates we should be easily at 100mpg by now.

:lol: Of course the current world record for MPG is over 12,000 MPG, but don't let that stop you Spandos.

That's kind of my point..

Some guy is able to build a 376 MPG car in his garage in the late 50's and we can't seem to get higher than 40mpg in a production car? We're getting ripped off.

Those extremely high mpg numbers are a bit misleading, because of the conditions, but certainly we should have at least 100 or even 200 mpg cars by now..

Cal Poly was able to build a 2752 MPG "car".. http://www.wired.com/2010/02/take-that- ... 27523-mpg/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

We are all intentionally being ripped off so an elite parasite class can suck the money out of us is the main bullet point to take away from this.

People like cars that go fast. Some like cars that they don't have to mortgage for 30 years. We probably could have 200mpg cars now, but I don't think people would like the performance or the cost. As long as we keep buying cars, why should they change? That's dumb, not a crime.

The Gas companies don't make as much money with a car that gets 350 MPG. They have brain washed most people in this country. Think about it, it is 2015 and we can't develop a V8 that gets 30 MPG. This is a LIE. It can be done f they really want it to.

You're just figuring this out now?

Here's another one that'll blow your mind: there are also light bulbs made 100 years ago that never burn out.

Personally, I like driving a car that might save my life in an accident.

Besides the obvious, getting your ass kicked for driving that car, I'm 6'3" and 300lbs and have three girls and a wife to haul around. Does Opal have a vehicle for me that gets 693mph?

Let's solve the simple problems first. Like, 8 hot dog buns to a pack while hot dogs come 10 to a pack. :twisted:
