“America’s built on religious liberty,” Jindal said. “We don’t discriminate against anybody of any religion and certainly there are many Muslims that are proud patriotic Americans. That’s great. It’s also true there are radical Muslims — Muslims that want to treat women as second-class citizens, those who want to use our freedoms to manager others.”

Allowing that “members of ISIS may be a different story,” Kelly pressed: “But just to say that if you are a radical Islamist or, more specifically, if you believe in Sharia law, then you won’t be allowed into the United States is controversial. Who decides how far into Sharia law you have to be? Who decides who’s a radical Islamist and who’s just an Islamist?”

“You don’t have the right to come here and say for example you think women should be treated as second-class citizens,” Jindal replied.

That answer didn’t come close to satisfying Kelly.

“This is a country with lots of crazy beliefs,” she noted. “And actually, some religions continue to treat women as second-class citizens — and it’s not just some forms of Islam. Are we going to start banning everybody who doesn’t treat women or children or criminals, for that matter, the way we like?”

What is pretty obvious is that you do not get into an Ivy League school if you are dumb. And that's the case even if you are a member of an "under represented minority" (and Jindal is not). That's what gets me about you guys. You will call people "dumb" even though the record clearly indicates they are not. Jindal would not have been accepted into the schools he was accepted into if he had not scored way high on standardized tests and done very well academically. He's not dumb. What's "dumb" is saying he's dumb.

And as far as Cruz goes: I was watching MSNBC today and they had this panel of people who don't like him discussing him. All agreed that he is one of the smartest people ever to go through Harvard Law. Somebody said something about him doing something nobody else who ever went through Harvard Law did but unfortunately I didn't catch exactly what it was. But the point was "this guy is brilliant."

Why you guys insist upon calling people "dumb" when they're obviously not is beyond me. If you disagree with what they say, fine. But you're not helping yourself by thinking people who disagree with you are dumb when they're not.
