Who wins the GOP nomination now that Romney is out?

And how badly do they lose to Hillary?

Both of Romney's supporters were crushed. Seriously, if he was going to run AGAIN, I would've been expecting Al Gore to throw his hat in the ring as well...... :coffee: :coffee: :coffee: :kisswink:

Christie will get painted as too much of a moderate and a bully.

Jeb, no matter how solid a platform, will be tainted by the actions of his dad and brother.

Perry? :?

Going to take a conservative to clean up the BHO mess

The can has been kicked down the road and will explode after 2016

If you have kids you better start saying you never supported BHO if you ever want to live in their basement

No doubt - we are in such better shape as a country now than during the Bush Admin.

I guess the right is missing Trillion dollars wars and killing and wounding thousands of American Soldiers, a bad economy, high gas prices, etc.

-National debt 6 years under Obama already added 7.5 trillion (10.6 to 18.1). On pace to add over 10 trillion. Obama has brought us to a point where it is impossible to pay it back.
-Labor force participation rate at a 30 some year low. Using a phony unemployment rate that isn't double digits only because millions have dropped out of the work force..
-Using f'ed funny $$ to create a market bubble thats going to burst. And BTW the market bubble disproportionately helps the 1%, those people you liberals loathe..
-Growing divide between the top 1% and the middle class, whose wages are stagnant..
-Open borders policy with mass amnesty and allowing hordes of illegals who continue to enter the US to stay, even if they are caught.
-Saddling us with Obamacare, the damaging effects of which haven't fully taken effect yet because Obama keeps delaying it..
-Gas was $1.89 when Bush left/Obama entered office.

Christie has no shot. I said that when people were talking about him last time. There is just NO way he'd play in the South. Don't think he'd play in some of the other Regions outside of the upper Mid Atlantic and Northeast either. And if there were ANY possibility he quashed it by publicly sucking Obama's prong during the Sandy aftermath. If he had any ambition of looking at national office as a Republican he ditched it right there.

No way. Not happening.

I think this is true. Sad that a candidate for national office of one party could not succeed without the support of bible thumping, retrograde, Southerners, but it is what it is.

If he starts to get any run nationally, I can guarantee you that he is the next target of the left-wing smear machine.

I guess it was a good thing that McCain and Romney were good 'ol bible thumpers, or they would have never won the south. Romney better thank his lucky stars he was one of those evangelical Mormons.
