Hmmmmm, white girl, shooting at a black man hurling....pea soup?
A new tourist attraction in Florida will allow children as young as 13 to fire live ammunition at fake zombies and Wild West gunslingers.
Machine Gun America, a 13,000-square-foot theme park, opens this weekend across from Kissimmee’s nostalgic Old Town attraction.
It’s not a shooting range, so guests are not permitted to bring their own firearms, but the attraction will offer military-grade training simulators involving up to four guests at a time.
Guests will also be able to imagine themselves as crime fighters, international spies, and special operations troops in the theme park’s shooter simulations.
Teens will be permitted to take part with a parent’s permission, but all guests must be accompanied by a trained range safety officer.
“I’ve had a lot of children fire with me before, and I’m always prepared because I am the one the whole time who is holding the firearm,” said Natasha Schweitzer, one of those range safety officers.
General Manager Bruce Nierenberg said no guests at Machine Gun America are permitted to shoot by themselves or control a weapon without a range safety officer participating alongside.
A 9-year-old girl (jizzaholic's niece) accidentally shot and killed her shooting instructor in August at an Arizona roadside attraction that allowed guests – including children – to fire automatic weaponry.
The girl was unable to control the recoil action on an Uzi she was shooting, and a bullet struck 39-year-old Charles Vacca as he stood alongside her.
“It’s romanticizing our freedom and our history,” Nierenberg said. “I mean, it’s part of American life. That’s how we gained our freedom.”

If you're talking about being victimized by violent crime through the action of a stranger a randomly selected Black male is far more likely to be a threat than a randomly selected member of any other race/sex combination. It's just reality.
Unlike TV commercials where all the criminals depicted are White males. The effort to avoid depicting reality in order to also avoid being accused of "racism" due to depiction of reality is obvious. So here we have some entity depicting reality. You're being attacked by a stranger and it's a Black guy. Very plausible.

I agree Gil, perhaps they have a choice. Wouldn't it be sweet if you could choose from gangstas, thugs, white trash crackas, lily white Mormon missionaries, and fat paranoid white suburbanites? Maybe throw in a few border jumping latinos and Russian chop shoppers to boot?

How do you know they don't also have targets of white and Asian guys (and also white Hispanics)?

Quiet Gil, you leave your “facts” out of this. Cappy is just trying to lay the foundation of folks that believe in their right to bare arms are also racists. It’s the next step in the gun control campaign since progressives are failing spectacularly in the current gun control campaign.

More kids with guns is a great thing, now we need MANDATORY gun classes in schools. Education is answer, force feed it to kids the way they do abortion, sex ed and bullying.
We need to raise generations of informed students that realize guns are not bad, people are. that way they can raise their kids to be productive citizens unlike the complete failures in the CnC, GATW, and other anti gun families. Child abuse pain and simple.
