Now...we are told that you have to have sufficient "diversity" in order to be really successful. Is there anybody here who thinks that Apple and Google haven't been really successful?

Another thing is how bad it is with respect to the race question. There is concern over the lacK" of "diversity" at Apple because, in part, it's "mostly White." Mostly White as in 55 percent White. Now, mind you, 63 percent of the US population is non Hispanic White. But there's something "wrong" with Apple's workforce being 55 percent White.

But the main thing is that this thing with companies like Apple and Google demonstrates what a crock the thing about having to have "diversity" sufficient to satisfy the egalitarians being SO important to success is.

The fact that even with having three times the population of the US that China is barely percentage points ahead makes this a non story. Not to mention the fact that it took a six year recession to accomplish this as well.

Agreed. I'm not too worried. Heard something once about how few patents the Chinese have because they have no creativity/ability to come up with their own ideas. All they do is steal from everybody else.
