And in usual fashion, the rest of the Middle East sits by and does nothing. I hope the Saudi royals realize that ISIS does not like them. Unreal and sad. These people are NOT human.

I started a thread earlier saying that we should exterminate this snake now. They want our ground troops. We should give them what they want so they can get their butts kicked. This kind of thing is why we hired people to be ground troops.
This thing of not wanting to use ground troops when it's an all volunteer army is ridiculous. People volunteer to be soldiers. What the hell do people thing a soldier's job is? It's to fight. It's to be in war.
As I said in other threads it'd be different if we had a draft. But we don't. Everybody in our military pursued a job with that job being to fight in wars. And they would absolutely destroy these ISIS guys. There would be a kill ratio of like 100:1 if not greater.

In the Bayou, you are the fisherman.
Elsewhere, you are the fish taking the bait.

We already tried this.

The world doesn't want this, but perhaps we give them a dose of Hiroshima 1945. I mean, end the crap and end it now. It would suck taking out the innocents but how many of these ISIS killing machines were once innocent children also. How'd that turn out?

And it worked like a charm until we tried to occupy.

And if we had immediately left a power vacuum, ISIS or a group like it would have moved in in '03. Which is why you don't make the decision to invade a sovereign nation unless you're prepared to deal with the commitment that comes afterwards.

Brilliant!
Did you learn that lesson from Libya?

CID with the WIN!
Grizhalfwit turns his tail and runs, while whimpering, "I was just about to mention that Obama's track record has been pathetic in Libya, Syria, Egypt, Pakistan, and everywhere else."

We already tried this.
It's like killing cockroaches. You get an infestation and you kill them. Doesn't mean you're not going to run across other infestations. And when you do you kill them again.
The problem is this mentality of thinking there has to be a discrete end. It is what it is. When you need to kill them then kill them. And don't take the attitude of thinking it has to be over forever when you do. It's pest control.

I think the discreetness has more to do with the American budget than anything else. Being the world's can of Raid is really expensive. Something like $30-40B a month when we spray two cans at the same time.
We need to let the Joos be the the exterminator in that part of the world. Then when there are good guy casualties, it's only Joos, so no real loss.

Joos are everywhere. They've assimilated.
