Open Enrollment

So, I received the health care information from work and i've done the math and have compared it against what i'm currently paying. Here's what's up:
1) the plans are changing due to the ACA. Low - Med - High Premium.
2) the comparable plan would have me paying 10% more than last year. However, since I have a child to protect, that same plan is 15% more.

What are you all seeing?

Honestly, I pay little attention. I know I need to have family insurance. I know they're going to raise my premium every year. I know there's not a fucking thing I can do about it.

I can't remember the last time my health care didn't go up double digits percentages.

I pay $143 a month and that is up from last year - which was $135 a month

$142.75 every two weeks (or $3,711.50/year) for myself and two sons. That's BCBS Family Basic Plan for Feds.

Only business model in the world where a 15% increase in a year is considered getting a "good deal".

Thanks, Obama.

Unfortunately, that is just one tax line item.
Do yourself a favor and don't look at the other line items. :coffee:

Big insurance increases were a problem long before Obama.

Not sure what planet you're living on. Our rate of increase without substantial changes to the plan in the 1st year of Obamacare was going to be 35%. Highest rate of increase EVER.

Doesn't mean that's what your company's increase was.

Ditto for California: 19 to 37% increases this year. HUGE DEBATE GOING ON. TWO VOTER PROPOSITIONS ON BALLOT TO REMOVE REGULATORY CONTROL FROM STATE HEALTHCARE (ACA) "Independent" commission.

Even the Obamabots have jumped ship.

California's Gov. Moonbeam and the Leftislature recessed for the year...right before the increases were announced.

GOOBAMA!!!

First chance for a Republican: 2024.

Ouch, that hurts to say. But kneegrows just got their 8 years of flesh from the white devil man and women are going to get theirs next. If there is a country left after those 16 years of media driven white male guilt, maybe we can get back to fixing things.

too soon....they'd have to come to their senses very shortly to hit that target and that isn't happening - the conks are off their political meds, lashing out at everything that isn't a white male over 50, insulting to minorities, condescending to women... it's no fvcking wonder that their numbers grow smaller every day - there aren't enough women stupid enough to breed with them to sustain their numbers..... :ohno: conks..

Losers like Densedawg offer no solutions. Their survival depends on their ability to create division, then collect the fractions to build a consensus of haters.

Their key is vilifying white males...the traditional power block.

Problem is, when they have been successful, as Obama has excruciatingly shown, the libtards destroy everything they touch. Quite frankly, Hil is more inept than Obama. That any person would consider electing her POTUS, demonstrates the threat of a "divide and hate" strategy.
