Hypothetical Rand Paul versus Hillary matchup in 2016

I don't really expect this matchup to happen but since they are the leaders in current polls I was wondering how this might work out. Will the kalms and Chizzangs out there vote for a guy who is pretty far right on economics who wants to break up the big banks, crack down on government spying, reign in the drug war, and legalize pot over Hillary?

haikus are prone to make me sigh
Sitting at a desk, made from mans hand
I reach down and stroke my favorite gland.

Green Party? The last time they annoyed anyone was the Dems back in 2000 when they bore some of the blame of Gore losing the layup election he had. Does the Green Party even have candidates anymore? :coffee:

The Greens had nothing to do with Gore losing. Gore lost because he lost his home state. Even then more people voted for him than voted for his opponent. :coffee:

You know what really annoys conservatives? Liberals who vote for conservatives and libertarians. 8-)

I like Rand Paul, and if I had an inkling that his sit down chat with Wall Street about the way things REALLY are would fall on deaf ears, I'd strongly consider voting for him.

But I still think it's stupid to vote for either party in national elections, so it will probably be Libertarian Party for me again.

Or Socialist Workers Party simply to trump Chizzy.

Yeah, if only he had read the rules befor the election and realized we use the electoral college system, maybe he would've done something differently. Darn rules.

I agree though, the Greens didn't lose Gore that election. Gore lost it all by himself. He had a slam dunk of a chance to win the election and he blew it by actually looking more aloof and more disconnected than W did. I mean, that took a lot of effort on Gore's part to be that bad. When all is said and done, he might have been one of the worst Presidential campaigners of all time, at least of our time. Right up there with Dole and McCain. Even Kerry was better than him and that's saying something.

Honestly it doesn't matter how I vote nationally here in the Social Utopia of Washington State
We've got so many Hippies and Women voters and socially conscious white people I can just THROW my vote away
