If only because I love the idea of civil disobedience in general

But its still good stuff - I enthusiastically await the fast food revolution

Nothing would make me happier than to see Fast Food prices quadruple

This right here is the part the BDK's fail to get. Disdain for those working full time and an under appreciation of how many low wage workers aren't teenagers. Teens theoretically can only work part time, so where are all of these low wage workers coming from? And they're having babies to boot!

Solution: cut their government bennies and they'll magically find better paying jobs to support their families and buy more things they can't afford.

If we had a solid economy, any full time employment would keep you out of poverty and enable you to drive the economy through purchasing the necessities for your family...like iPhones and bundled internet/cable.

Liberals/Progressives ought to like that because, as is the case with cost to taxpayers in general, the overwhelming preponderance of taxpayer cost to take care of the poor is borne by the rich.

But my position is it shouldn't be an issue because government shouldn't be in the business of charity. Charity should be a voluntary, private thing.

If one is a person who typically votes for Democrats and/or for politicians that are more likely to foster the "we will take care of you" State then you should be willing to bear the cost of that anyway. You shouldn't be telling people who own businesses that they have to pay people more than what they do is worth so that the taxpayers who VOTED to have government try to take care of everybody's personal needs don't have to pay for what THEY voted for.

Of course, as I said, the typical person in the United States can afford to be pretty cavalier with respect to who is going to pay for it because the overwhelming preponderance of the cost is shifted to a small percentage of top income people. Easy to call for "taking care of the poor" when what you're really calling for is making somebody ELSE take care of the poor. Boy that takes a LOT of compassion and it's a REAL sacrifice.

Our lying sack 'o shite governor, Markell, told everyone that Delaware didn't have room for any of the illegal immigrant children. We couldn't afford it. Suddenly, Obama came to visit...and ooops, Delaware is taking in 171 of these illegal immigrants.

Markell is also telling everyone that WE need to be prepared to support these kids and educate them during their stay.

None of these kids will be going to Markell's kids' school. None of them will live in his neighborhood.

In the meantime, a host family will receive over $1,000 tax-free (now you have to admit, that is insanely funny) for each child, up to six children.

For some background, the local paper, the News Urinal, just put out an article regarding the fact that Delaware has tens of thousands of poor children that the state is having difficulty funding. So heck, why not add a bunch more?

When you read the News Urinal's comments, you have the typical banter going back and forth between a bunch of Conks, and a few Libs. Of course, a few of the Libs are using the race card.

But what really sticks out is when the Libs say that WE should support these children.

Who is, "we?"

If you want to adopt an illegal immigrant child and support them, then feel free to do so. But the whole idea that, "we" should support these children is baffling. Because, in reality, the Libs are not saying, "I", or, "we", and if they are part of the, "we." If they meant that, then they'd take action and directly support those children.

Instead, what they are really saying is that SOMEONE ELSE should support these children, and that the government should take SOMEONE ELSE'S MONEY to support these children because the Libs don't actually want to do it themselves. They are too busy taking care of their cat, or watching Ellen to actually be one of the "we" people.

Anybody who's against fast food workers using civil disobedience and rallying their limited resources to better their position in life is, by definition is un-American
