T-man will be quite proud!
"I don't want to get into the debate about climate change. But I will just simply point out that I think that in academia we all agree that the temperature on Mars is exactly as it is here. Nobody will dispute that. Yet there are no coal mines on Mars, there's no factories on Mars that I'm aware of. So I think what we're looking at is something much greater than what we're going to do."
Smith claims that Earth is exactly the same temperature as Mars. According to NASA, the Earth's average temperature is 57 degrees Fahrenheit. By contrast, Mars has an average temperature of negative 81 degrees Fahrenheit.

WHEN WILL NASA ADMIT TO COOKING THE BOOKS ON THE TEMPERATURE OF MARS?! IT'S TIME TO FESS UP!

So, his margin of error is about the same as the NOAA's then.

Nor does it top asking if the Mars rover can get a picture of the flag the astronauts left there.

Since states that vote Republican are called red states does that mean that those states are Communist states and therefore Republicans are actually Communists?

Bastages have been pretending to be patriotic, pro Merica statesman while they've been subversive MOFers the whole time! Spandos you got anything on this?

Not even

I mean you can come close to excusing someone of being ignorant of planetary science.. hell I would venture that only perhaps 25% of people in the world know jack sh!t about the climate on Mars

But thinking that an island might tip over because there are too many people on it requires a very special kind of stupid rarely seen even in Congress

About as much as you're embarrassed by the Congressional Black Caucus.

To be honest I couldn't tell you the first think about the Mars climate other than assuming it's probably pretty damn cold and not conducive to life as we know it, especially since we were told growing up that if the Earth were to stray even a little off orbit it would be way too hot/cold to survive.

Then again I'm also willing to admit that and would speak on it until I at least did a basic Google search

25% of the poeple in the world don't know jack shit about OUR climate, let alone the climate on Mars. That number's probably closer to .25%.

Aside from being named after the God of War and being Red, I don't know anything. However, common sense says that the further you are from a heat source, the colder you'll be.

I think what he was probably referring to is a set of reports that Mars has been warming and, obviously, there are no humans there to cause that. It's unfortunate that he bungled it.

Not necessarily. Depends if the planet has enough mass to have a molten core like Earth does.
