Is that why we send Israel billions every year?

I would have given the Jews the moral high ground over the Palestinians in the abduction and murder of their three kids a few weeks back if they had simply gone after the people responsible. But to see what has happened instead, you realize that the Jews are the same scum as the Palestinians. In retaliation, they abduct a Palestinian teen and burn him alive:

The statement said the presence of smoke in Mr. Abu Khdeir's lungs prove he inhaled the fumes while being burned alive and that there were burns on 90% of the body.

Then in the news today, there is video of IDF beating a US citizen, the cousin of the teen burned alive, after Palestinians protested the burning alive of their kid.

Fuck Israel. They're equal pieces of shit to the Arabs. Let them all fight to the last man. And then don't let that man reproduce.

Or just get off of oil. Then that part of the world means nothing.

Can't do it. The Bible won't allow it. We are viewed as the Great Satan to them over there. But we have a lot in this country who see the US as the Sword of God and there's no end in sight to that view.

We see Islam as a radical religion but in the same token view everything about Christianity as rational and unquestionable truth.

That's why we got our nose so far up Israel's ass over the last 60 years.

When I was in high school back in the day my thoughts were "why don't we just nuke the whole Middle East". In retrospect, now more than 25 years later, I've realized I was very wise as a teen.

AFAIC, Israel can do what ever the fuck they want to defend themselves. They are surrounded by people who want to eliminate them. And should feel paranoid, because it has been attempted in the not so far past. We help them become a nation after WWII and need to help defend them as much as possible. Because they are the only "free" democratic government in the entire region.
As for the US citizen who was beaten, if he's over there waging jihad, F him. They aren't few and far between.

At least there are still some men left in the world that take matters into their own hands and bring guns to knife fights. If somebody kidnaps any citizen of a country and burns them alive, the proper response is to kidnap a couple dozen....torture and burn them alive. Then while people are complaining about this situation you tactically nuke a small town and then issue a press release stating "your serve".

I'm torn over Israel. I do believe they have the right to exist and also to protect themselves. I also believe that the turmoil in that region is left over from the British partitioning, but the Palestinians are the real instigators and have been for the last 50 years.

ALl that said, I think Israel can protect themselves without the billions in aid we send then each year, and that spigot (along with several others) needs to be slowly turned off.

Israel is not the only country we give a lot of money to with no return on our investment, but they are one of a select few (I live in one of them) that not only accepts our money but also act against our interests in many cases.

As far as their treatment of the Paletinians I do not think they are nearly as brutal as we would be if Mexico was launching rockets into civilian population centers along our borders.

US gov wouldn't protect this country if Mexico was attacking us........they would do exactly the same thing they are doing with illegal immigration.
