Beliefs are nothing to be proud of...

Believing something is not an accomplishment.
Yet we are schooled to think that beliefs are something to be proud of
But beliefs are easy - and most frequently - Handed down from generation to generation

Nothing but opinions we refuse to challenge or reconsider
Fear is their hiding place

As soon as you are proud of a belief, as soon as you think it adds something to who you are, then you have made it a part of your ego

Then why do we reward decisiveness regardless of accuracy and admire conviction and principle more than wondering?

(BTW, I believe there's a reason you forget certain punctuation and seem to use paragraphs randomly but I'm not proud that I don't know why)

In part, but belief systems mostly develop over time as we mature through life experiences.

Never thought or believed they were accomplishments though.
