BREAKING: CA State Senator Indicted on Arms Trafficking, Public Corruption Charges

In court Wednesday, Federal prosecutors unsealed an indictment against California State Senator Leland Yee and accused him of conspiring to commit wire fraud and traffic firearms.

A total of 26 people, including former school board president Keith Jackson, were indicted on charges related to an extensive crime ring headed by well-known Chinatown figure Raymond Chow. According to the Los Angeles Times, Chow was also arrested and charged Wednesday.

This revelation could end the political career of the well-known Democrat. Senate leader Darrell Steinberg called on Yee to resign or face swift action by the State Senate.

Ironically, Yee has been fighting for more gun control in California. See video in article.

It's funny: It's usually those who want to impose stricter restrictions who will profit most: Make semi-automatic weapons illegal, you're going to make a lot more money trafficking weapons.

Just like the anti-marijuana legalization people: Mostly the government and drug cartels themselves, who have the most to lose in the way of fines and profits... That's why freedom is always the best option.

He wasn't the only one. We had a punk running for DA in my county who couldn't keep the handcuffs off. I lost track of how many times he was arrested just during the campaign season. He looked a fool come election time, too....

I find it hilarious when an article about a guy who has been arrested for ILLEGAL GUN TRAFFICKING CHARGES then goes on to state that this "MAY end his political career...".

Yee 9.4%, 379,000 votes for Secretary of State in the June 3, 2014 election.

For Dems, doesn't matter if they're a criminal or a lying sociopath, just as.long as there's a "D" behind the name...

I went to high school with a guy that became an ADA in your County or Placer County, forget which. He decided to run against his boss just in time to get arrested down at 4th and T while conducting his own "independent investigation" into the sex trade. Probably before your time.
