Canada Approves Pacific Pipeline

U.S. will lose tens of billions in GDP...

...and the Pacific pipeline will generate a NET INCREASE in global CO2 emissions over an XL pipeline, western refined product (Chinese refined blends are "dirtier than western/european blends).

And how much more energy will it take to ship the oil overseas rather than just pumping it over the southern border?

So the XL pipeline wouldn't lead to oil being shipped overseas?

In reality, though, they probably would've done this pipeline in addition to the XL pipeline anyway. Of course, that doesn't excuse this administration from fumbling on this issue, but that's a different story.
