Current CA balance is approx. 56% liberal, 44% conservative. Enough to keep the dems in power, so dem selection is crucial. Unfortunately, both parties have gravitated to the extremes. Soooo... in CA, 13 million people have their rights erased, and a couple million have NO representation.

Clooney is extremely unqualified. Though Gray Davis and Jerry Brown are union puppets, and Schwarznegger lacked political acumen, at least they all understand politics.

To boot, Clooney lives in Italy...he has little connection with CA.
