The girl`s father saw the suspects walking his daughter toward the home. That`s when police say the teen`s father, a 34 year old man, got his gun and fired several shots at the suspects, hitting both of them. The girl`s mother, also 34, got another gun and fired a round as well, not hitting either suspect.
OK. Annie, DON'T get your gun.

I'll be curious to see if any charges are filed against the shooters - not sure if Missou has a castle doctrine or even if shooting someone outside your home in a situation like this would even apply under one. Either way, a dirtbag is dead, another probably spending time in the pokey, and the anti-gunners will rest easily knowing this will never hit the national media as an example of a gun owner thwarting what would likely have been a much worse situation.
