George Carlin as well as Penn and Teller do a nice job of destroying tightly held beliefs
Penn and Teller do one on Organic Foods that Conservatives love to quote
but they also do one on Religion and Corporatism and Big Business
it's difficult to snuggle up with them too much (because they destroy everything)

Carlin is great at creating funny routines on faulty premises. He succeeds at making me laugh, but his jokes aren't necessarily based on facts; they are just jokes.

He uses a circular type of logic that (after he's run the circle a few times) becomes overwhelming...
