Than every other major news source when it comes to campaign finance. No real surprise. :thumb:
New from The Annenberg Public Policy Center:

Viewers of “The Colbert Report” who watched faux-conservative TV host Stephen Colbert set up a super PAC and 501(c)(4) organization during the last presidential election cycle proved to be better informed about campaign financing and the role of money in politics than viewers of other news channels and shows, according to a new study.

“It’s the first study actually showing that Colbert is doing a better job than other news sources at teaching people about campaign financing,” said Bruce W. Hardy, Ph.D., lead author of the study and a senior researcher at the Annenberg Public Policy Center of the University of Pennsylvania. “Consistently, we found that Colbert did better than every other news source we included in our model.”

And people who watch nothing at all are likely even better informed than the Colbert watchers.

Off Subject. I like NPR. I know the direction they come from but I deal with that. Generally thoughtful and informative.

It probably has little to do with NPR. Typical NPR listeners are probably better informed because they are prolific readers. I listen to NPR when I am in the US but for me it is entertainment when I am on a long drive.

As an aside- why didn't you quote the source for your chart?

I agree. And I think it's the same with Daily Show or Colbert viewers. I don't think that people whose sole source of news is Daily Show, Colbert Report, or NPR would be that well informed.

But, I do think people that watch or listen to those three are more likely to have a wide array of news sources than those that watch Fox, MSNBC, etc., imo. - and, are therefore better informed.

and highly committed to presenting only THE TRUTH

It was NPR.

I'll bet money that guy she was with dumped her. Any woman that calls children, "crotch fruit", is lacking in class and poise.

Even less so I would imagine...
But as you know - the relentless pursuit of THE TRUTH takes its toll on a man

An appropriate position for an uber-lib journalism major.
