Can we agree universally on a few things around here
1) Politicians Lie when it suits them - Regardless of Party affiliation
2) Religion is not science - thus applying scientific methods to its history is not revealing
3) Modern War isn't about democracy or moral high ground or freedom
4) Climate change is happening BUT (scientists on both sides have sullied themselves for money and fame)
5) Man may or may not be the primary cause and this cannot be proven with our present data
6) We haven't had a great president since... (pick one but it can't be either of the last 2)
7) Congress is primarily seated by idiots - of similar quantities on both sides of the isle
8) Our Federal banking system is highly flawed and NOT Federal but private
9) Our Stock Market is also highly flawed and obviously rigged
10) We are a Republic (not a Democracy) but drifting dangerously close to a Democracy
So lets find new stuff to argue about okay... Unless I'm missing something up there (FRANCE)

I want to hear from Spandex before I agree to any of these points...

Are you trying to kill the Poli Board, Cleets?
Still trying to figure out why Harvard sullied itself further by picking Bloomberg as this year's commencement speaker, just a year after Oprah.
You lost me at point 10. Explain the "dangerously close" part. I never equated the USA with ancient Greek city-states.

10 is a bit of a sideways jab at Obama
Who's primary concern seems to be popular opinion and consensus ideology - which is kind of the core problem with Democracy....

We are a Plutocracy pretending to be a Republic - slowing morphing into a Democracy

Ohhhh, Cleets...it's o.k., don't cry...
...Mommy and Daddy still love you...
...we just argue sometimes. Every now and then it's necessary to prove each other wrong...
...crushing and belittling each other with verbal battery...
...way beyond the normal boundaries of civility...
...disrespectfully bludgeoning one another for the sole purpose of...
...dysfunctional gratification and make-up sex.
Now, go back to bed and be sure to lock our door on your way out.

Ok fine. But we're still democratic...at least on paper.

Dude...
Kalm and myself are very friendly with each other
and I think he is far less insane than you - and - with fewer psychological disorders than most on this board
(including myself)

Hippie, it's been years since you've been drunk enough to have an argument on this board. My comment was directed by the pointless, inane, donk/conk bickering. It will NEVER end and the debate will never progress because the stake (money) holders control the media and hence, the debate.
And btw, I'm sorry you believe Kool Aid drinking is a trait of mental health normalcy.
