White House Press Secretary Jay Carney is stepping down.

President Obama made the announcement at Friday's daily press briefing. He said he has chosen spokesman Josh Earnest to replace him.

"Jay has become one of my closest friends, and is a great press secretary," Obama said.

And yesterday Obama expressed his absolute confidence in Shinseki.

I guess even Carney found his conscience after lying to everyone for the last few years.

They've each gone through a few. Besides, it was released a earlier this year that Carney was leaving.
