The people buying these girls probably have very little internet, let alone twitter, and don't read English. And it's fully normal within their culture to purchase child-brides, so there's going to be a huge disconnect between our message and their comprehension of it. I feel like our nation tells other people what is wrong without ever explaining to them why we think it is, and then proceeds to vilify them because they can't understand the Western world's POV. All this is is a feel-good campaign.

In short, I can tell a child not to kill, but what's the point if they don't know the reasons behind it?
