NAACP: Sterling ban isn't enough

I figured this would go political before it went NBA so I put it here.
"Sterling's long-established pattern of bigotry and racist comments have not been a secret in the NBA," the statement said. "Yet until now, they have been tolerated and met with a gentle hand and a blind eye."
The groups want Silver to talk with them about diversifying the executive ranks of the NBA, similar to efforts in other sports.
You put your best talent on the court, but not necessarily in the front office? Are we talking affirmative action/quotas?
Before Silver's announcement, the NAACP's Los Angeles chapter withdrew its decision to give Sterling a lifetime achievement award, and returned money he donated.
So, it's a long-established pattern, yet they want to give him your highest award?

I agree with the NAACP. He should be imprisoned, stripped of all his wealth, and beaten with a stick.

And we should have 12% black in the front office along with 73% white on the court. Nobody will watch anymore, but we'll all feel better, right?

Like a medium sized one. Too big and it's hard to get velocity. Too small and it breaks on impact.

I also forgot bamboo splints under his fingernails and his children should also have their money taken away from them since they probably made most of it from him.

Mark Cuban, owner of the Dallas Mavericks, tweeted that he agreed with the actions taken against Sterling and called his comments "abhorrent."
But Cuban appeared to stop short of calling for a forced sale.
"If we’re taking something somebody said in their home and we're trying to turn it into something that leads to you being forced to divest property in any way, shape or form, that’s not the United States of America. I don't want to be part of that," he said.
I dislike Mark Cuban as much as the next guy, but he's 100% spot on with his comments here.

They could assign one person to monitor this site.
I nominate Dem Rep. Bennie Thompson for calling Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas An Uncle Tom
this week.
A new proposal would empower the feds to scour the Internet, TV and more for so-called hate speech.
Democratic Sen. Ed Markey is pushing a bill to have a federal agency monitor anything that it suspects may encourage hate crimes.
He wants the agency to work in connection with the Department of Justice and U.S. Commission on Civil Rights, then file a report to Congress on what’s hateful and could lead to hate crimes.

But what is scary is that we have a US Senator that thinks it is a good idea.

Scarier that there's a majority population of a US State that supported said Senator by voting for him.
