Have been looking to buy 3 new trucks. Really like the Toyota Tundra Crew Max but they get 12mpg on the highway.
Now that they have announced they are moving, it's worth it to purchase these trucks and pay a little more for gas. Magpul, Toyota, Websense, Dropbox, Accenthealth. Rick Perry is raping CA!

And highest tax rate...
http://cnsnews.com/news/article/michael ... hest-taxes...
...highest state level of gun control...least.business friendly location...highest fuel and energy prices...draconian govt fees...
...and NO SIGN that the leftislature or Guv. Moonbeam have.any intent to fix anything.
Taint easterners causing the problem...
...it's the urban entitlement Donks and 60 to 80 year old baby boomer/counter culture scum still trying to"overthrow the Establishment". Good news is, the Baby Boomers are begining to die off, and the millenials are fed up listening to the empty Donk lies, while being saddled with no long term security while suffering double-digit annual COL increases.

There's a whole generation plus between the boomers and millenials and you'll like them. They bought into The Reagan mythology hook, line, and sinker. They're selfish, dumb, and dangerous....
You'll hate millenials though.

I'm still waiting for California to fold so I can swoop in and buy somewhat reasonable property for my retirement. The weather and the waves will still be there.
Let's go current Californians. Off yourselves now. You can do it!

Prices are still down on commercial, but single family is creeping back up. Most mid to low are scooped up by equity/asset managers before they're listed.
If you have 250k plus to play with, you can find some suburb deals. Outlying will require 350+, and if you can go 450+, head to the hills.
I'm getting rid of everything...in a year, I should only have one SF, and half interest in a commercial.
As soon as my last family leaves, I'm gone.

The rest of the nation would prefer you stay right there in CA.

I'm buying the house next door to yours...

Then, I'm moving to Singapore...

I was stationed in Yuma. You've got all the makings of a beach there; just no water.

Like the old George Carlin "Divorce Game" riff: "Raoul is a pearl diver from Yuma and has been out of work for some time now..."

I think the older millenials will be a bit more open minded than the boomers. The younger millenials, well, they are a mess. We've grown up in a time of technology' we graduated college into a shitty economy; we care less about you being white, black, gay or straight; we despise the bullshit that the boomers have fed us. I think we may surprise everyone, but it's the Gen. Xers that might continue down a path of destruction.

Next up for the move out of CA will be Honda as they pretty much follow what Toyota does.

It looks like it's already underway.
Southern California once was the U.S. home to Japan's Big 3 — Toyota, Nissan and Honda. Then Nissan announced in 2005 that it was leaving for Tennessee. It initially moved to Nashville, then to Smyrna, Tenn., where it also has manufacturing operations. Honda last year started relocating its North America corporate headquarters to Ohio, near its Marysville plant.
