I sure wonder why the news has left race out of this one? Read a few reports that the guy was robbed, which they actually put into this article, but was beaten by a group of black guys. If this was reversed it would be front page news across the country.

(WXYZ) - A 54-year-old man is in critical condition after being beaten by a group when he pulled over to help a 10-year-old boy he accidentally hit with his truck/

Witnesses tell police and 7 Action News that the driver of the truck, a 54-year-old man, got out to help the boy but before he could reach him, a group of teens and adults jumped the man and started beating him.




The kid walked right out into traffic. There is a video of it, but not the assault.

Also...in another article I read a person said that if someone hit a kid in that neighborhood they wouldn't stop and keep on going...that this guy stopped was a miracle, but that was too bad for him. They also said that people probably knew who did the beating, but noone would say a word.

Great place. No decency and no care for life. Detroit is America's Rio.

So they have made a few arrests, unbelievable, and they are saying it "may be a hate crime"...but we all know if the races were reversed the news would be reporting it "as a hate crime".

Detroit Mob Attack: Total Of 5 Arrests Made By Police

DETROIT (AP) — Police on Wednesday arrested a fifth person in the mob beating of a 54-year-old motorist who stopped to help a 10-year-old Detroit boy struck by his pickup truck.

Detroit Police Chief James Craig declined to release details about the arrest but told reporters during a news briefing that the 19-year-old man "didn't turn himself in" and that more arrests in the April 2 attack on the city's east side are "a strong possibility."

Still have yet to hear from Al or Jessie.
