somebody needs to tell the europeans that we are totally like them now- hypersensitive, easily offended, and expect only nonsuggestive, gluten free, secular gifts

Belgium is a practically dysfunctional state. The Flemings and the Walloons hate each other worse than ever, and the country will probably split apart within the next 5 years. 
That said, Belgian chocolate is pretty good, and Stella Artois is mighty tasty!
