Jerry Springer just learned a very valuable lesson ... and now he's retiring the word "tranny" from his show ... FOREVER.

Springer was on "TMZ Live" today to discuss the backlash over a recent episode of "The Jerry Springer Show" entitled "Trannies Twerk It Out." LGBT groups were not pleased the show used the term "tranny" ... but Springer claims he had no clue he was offending anyone.

Tranny is NOT a bad word. HOLY SHIT people. Quit bowing down to special interest groups.

Sexually Migratory is the correct term, Grizza. You and Jerry need sensitivity training.

So I can only assume that "Bi" is also offensive to them?

Sorry. I don't bow to special interest groups. Tranny is not derogatory in the way Jerry said. But, he was forced to bow to the LGBT because everyone is so scared of offending someone these days.

I haven't. I have a problem with people bowing to special interest groups over dumb words. This PC, don't offend anyone, don't upset anyone culture this country has become is sickening...ESPECIALLY when Jerry (Jerry-Jerry-Jerry) Springer has to apologize...fuck them. AND fuck Jerry for bowing to the PC police.

I think that they want to be called "cross-dressers". Not sure what happens if the Catholic Church finds that offensive.

I don't know on an individual basis but I assume so in some cases or at least not a care one way tother.

You can place any other sort of copying in the place of black face. If intent doesn't matter then we shouldn't use it anywhere I suppose. I know you are not one saying that it does not matter, just putting it out there.

It is not up to you or me to decide if something is offensive to another person or group. If they say it is offensive, then it is offensive. But it is a free country. We can offend people all we want. I am an equal opportunity offender of groups of people. I will hold back from offending individuals until I find it is warranted, as in the case of GATW.
