I just can't feel sorry for this person (and I've played plenty of pranks).

Don't want trouble...don't look for it.

Trouble will try to find you anyway, but don't complain when something turns out badly when you were involved in something that disrespects someone (s' life, religion, sexuality, drug use, gender, home, beliefs, etc. , - whatever the key word is for so-called victims of oppression today).

If you decide to play a prank, be prepared for someone to go ballistic. Duh.

Is it right for someone to go ballistic over a "simple" prank? Maybe not, but don't go crying (or have your family go crying) when you make a decision to do something that devalues someone else. you've put yourself in a position to be a victim.

Noble told police he fired shots in the direction of the teens in an effort to scare them but wasn’t looking to strike any of the pranksters, authorities said. 15 year olds who run around and mess with other people are snot nosed punks.
48 year olds who shoot snot nosed punks are pricks.

It's okay to shoot someone if you fear for your life, it's not okay to shoot someone because you fear for your cars finish.

Teenagers do lots of stupid things, they don't deserve to be shot every time they cross the line.
