Okay you're off the hook on this one

I heard about that earlier and it's not off the wall at all. The Jews were easy to demonize, in part, because they were economically successful and controlled a lot of commerce. Also, there is the basic idea of scapegoating. The Jews were scapegoated by the Nazis and, in our own time and place, "The Rich" are being scapegoated by the progressive movement.

Of course there are differences. But there are also similarities and no two circumstances are alike. And there is no question that "the left" demagogues by setting up "The Rich" as villains who are responsible for the country's problems. Things like saying that "The Rich" are "siphoning off" wealth that rightfully belongs to others.

There is absolutely no question that they are being demonized and used as scapegoats to drum up a fervor in favor of the progressive movement and the Democratic Party. None whatsoever.

Unlike Europe where the super rich spend alot of time isolated and hidden in quiet clubs and elite locations

In America the super rich can hang with the regular old upper middle
and have a very "included" experience - enjoy a socially mixed life and walk peacefully among the hoard and mix in fairly easily

So the super elite wealthy took a bit of an image beating after the Bank collapse

Change the messaging to how through one of the greatest trade and financial deregulatory era's in modern history they were able create decent paying jobs and raise all those boats. And when the economy fell on hard times, they sufferred along with the rest of the country. How, rather than kicking down the ladder once they reached the top, they sacrificed along side the hoi poloi, extending a rope to help pull everyone back up with them.

They should own a couple of media conglomerates to fight back against the evil, independent, press...
