As somebody who has helped raise funds for the mentally disabled via Operation HOPE with the Knights of Columbus, the good that goes to these folks is something not to be taken lightly and believe me when they thank you, it is very moving. Ann Coulter is heartless idiot who, for whatever reason, is held to high esteem in the GOP circles.

Anybody can throw around the word "retard" like it's nothing. WRONG! Highly offensive and kudos to this gentleman for letting Mr. Coulter know about it and no, that's not a typo.

Would it make it better if I say "limbologically challenged person" instead of "amputee?" Is that going to bring your arm back?

What if she'd have said, "That's stupid?" Should we get in a wad because she insulted stupid people? Actually, "stupid" and "mentally retarded" could be construed as synonyms.

In the tweet he was referring to she called him a "retard". The point is not about the righteous indignation, the point is she got owned by someone who is developmentally disabled. As for the validity of whether or not he wrote the letter, I have a cousin with D.S. who was class president, and has lived most of his adult life on his own, holding down a job. There are obviously different levels...and some relatively low functioning adults even go on to run professional baseball franchises and become president...

The point is not about the righteous indignation, the point is she got owned by someone who is developmentally disabled. The only way anyone would say Coulter "got owned" by whoever wrote that blog post is if they start off wanting to believe that. If you're like me and start off thinking that getting all offended by someone calling someone else a "retard" is ridiculous the opposite is the case. Then that blog post is just one more example of politically correct drivel.

Yes there is some error to that. It's an estimate. But not that much. He is clearly above the average range in terms of IQ (average range is about 85 through 115).

When you're talking about Down Syndrome you're talking about it being very unlikely that the individual's IQ is above 80.
