I've been following the implementation of Basil III for quite a while now. No doubt in my mind it's coming........and soon!

Perhaps the I.M.F. just gave us a hint of what is too come. Commodities may be a great place to transfer some wealth. Especially into the very affordable Silver.
I buy silver every day.

I don't make the lending decisions any more. Someone else is turning them down here.

The IMF is having a big meeting (yearly pow wow) on the 23rd (I think). I remember Christine Laguard (head of the IMF) saying after last years that she wanted the IMF teams to keep working on developing the formulas to determine each countries assists.
I think this also has to deal with the bits and peaces that we hear about "emerging economies", currency manipulation/wars and a whole bunch related topics...
It's also very interesting what I hear about reserve currencies and changes coming down the pike.....

When the global economy collapses and the entire world is thrown into an economic Apocalypse, i'll welcome it. It will be a nasty survival of the fittest. Millions of people will riot. Things like credit scores, loans and economic poverty will go away. We'll be on a level playing field, fighting for the goods in the stores, killing over land to farm, resources. The world has gotten way to complicated. More complicated than intended and only an economic Apocalypse will fix it.

I can agree with part of that...From what I've read this will be an inflationary event (monetarily) here in the US and most of the developed nations with large amounts of debt. The US dollar will take a good sized hit in value (for a while) but then mostly recover. The period of time it takes to recover may have some shocking inflationary effects for many..........
