With all the wasted time and money spent prosecuting a victimless crime not to mention the STD's, it seems like the right thing to do.

I say yes.

Women do this anyway. Golddiggers have sex with men for monay. They just don't walk a corner and have a Pimp. Make them pay taxes.

"Victimless crime," my foot. There are PLENTY of victims with this. It panders to the lowest common denominator, pimps beat the girls, and despite the precautions taken by brothels, there's a much higher chance of getting the clap than otherwise. And that's ESPECIALLY true if it's NOT in a brothel, but a prostitute picked up on the street. Plus, crime of ALL types goes up in the vicinity. (Theft, murder, etc.)

It should be banned. As should casinos. But that's another story.

:ohno:

As 93 said, those things only happen because it is illegal. A woman can have sex with a man for free but if she charges it's suddenly a crime? Shit we pay for it as it is. You have to take her on a date, buy her dinner and drinks, take her to a movie. . . That stuff isn't free.

Absolutely not.

Make it legal and then they become a legitimate profession. Within months they'll be unionized and there'll be a fee schedule. Moaning and pretending like it will cost you extra, Buddy.

Then, the gummint will get involved. You'll have to have a "clean bill" health card before you can hire a hooker.

Later, the progtards will get involved, and out of fairness you'll have to bang one ugly hooker for every pretty one you visit, and the price will be the same.

Booze was better under prohibition and so are hookers.

Or so I'm told.

The Avg. Golddigger at the club does ALL of this. What about these Female college students who are screwing these Older men who pay for their Tuition and Cars. I guess thats ok?? It's all the same, sex for money. YOU WILL NEVER STOP THIS!

THe difference is this: If you make marijuana legal (which I'd be fine with), it doesn't eliminate the violence, the cartels, or any of that infrastructure. It's all still there, just more closely aligned with Cocaine, Heroin, Meth, etc., etc. Or do you advocate making ALL drugs legal?

I read an article yesterday that says the Mexican cartels will still likely run the Colorado legal pot operation through extortion. Because banks will not accept pot money due to federal law, the shop owners are already sitting on millions in cash. Some are already hiring Blackwater types to protect themselves and their families. And we're only three weeks in.

You obviously have never tried my grandfather's 190 proof peach brandy.

But booze WAS controlled by cartels through the use of violence during Prohibition.
