QE has created about $2.2 trillion in bank reserves at this point. Less than half (about 1 trillion) has been created in domestic banks. The rest, about 1.2 trillion has been created in foreign banks.

QE is a massive program of wealth transference from American taxpayers to the global banking cartel. For this alone, Obama should be impeached and Bernanke should be imprisoned.

I didn't see THAT in the linked Wiki, CG, but if true, it DOES sound pretty bad.

On the surface, at least, if I understood it right (and I'm not exactly sure I did), it sounded quite similar to a publically traded company conducting a massive stock buy-back.

Economics was never my strong suit, though. Easing of what? That implies that there's a pressure of some sort (probably inflation, but it could be something else). How does the governmental purchase of stocks, bonds, and the like relieve whatever pressure it's purported to relieve?
