So-called family values and hate? An odd way to bill yourself.mrklean wrote:The Party of so-called family values and hate is being Destroyed by the same hate, via the Tea Party. Ole Abe is turning over in his grave.
Thats what Ive been saying. On the one hand they talk about God and Family values. But on the other hand, they hate the Dems, Social Programs and Big Government.89Hen wrote:So-called family values and hate? Odd, the peace loving, pacifistic party sure habors a lot of hate for anyone who doesn't see things their way either. Imagine that.mrklean wrote:Thats what Ive been saying. The GOP is just as hypocritical.89Hen wrote:Odd, the peace loving, pacifistic party sure habors a lot of hate for anyone who doesn't see things their way either. Imagine that.mrklean wrote:

You'd think they would have picked better things out of the GOP to mimick.mrklean wrote:They learned from the GOP89Hen wrote: Odd, the peace loving, pacifistic party sure habors a lot of hate for anyone who doesn't see things their way either. Imagine that.

And for that they're branded as terrorists. WAFJ this country has become.Ibanez wrote:The GOP is just as hypocritical.89Hen wrote: Odd, the peace loving, pacifistic party sure habors a lot of hate for anyone who doesn't see things their way either. Imagine that.
I'll admit, TP candidates campaigned on certain issues and they are doing everything they can to fulfill campaign promises.
And the party of no ideas since clearly they have not been able to offer any alternative to Obamacare in the 3+ years it's been around?89Hen wrote:And?Ibanez wrote:

They will. I have faith in thatGil Dobie wrote:For the umpteentth time, repukes will not be in the oval office until they change their social platform.
Unless the dumbcruts really screw up.
No, it's the execution and strategy that makes people think they are terrorists. Trying to fulfill campaign promises is noble, but be smart about it.AZGrizFan wrote:And for that they're branded as terrorists. WAFJ this country has become.Ibanez wrote:

Again, the GOP DID propose alternatives to the ACA but they weren't considered because the democrats had a super majority in the house and a filibuster proof majority in the senate at the time.Ibanez wrote:And the party of no ideas since clearly they have not been able to offer any alternative to Obamacare in the 3+ years it's been around?89Hen wrote: And?

How about just keeping the status quo? Change, JUST FOR THE SAKE OF CHANGE, is rarely a good thing. Obamacare is an abortion of a disaster, but donks won't admit it. They're like buffalo, following their illustrious leader over the cliff.Ibanez wrote:And the party of no ideas since clearly they have not been able to offer any alternative to Obamacare in the 3+ years it's been around?89Hen wrote: And?

But can Christie win the nomination?GannonFan wrote:Chris Christie - as long as he lives until 2016 he gives the GOP a very legitimate chance to win the White House. People elect Presidents on the person, not the party. Christie versus Clinton will be a very enjoyable campaign to follow as both are very electable and very good candidates.
Oh, and with gerrymandering and overall polarization, neither party is ever dead. The GOP's going to keep the House in 2014 even if they misstep every day from now until then. Political entrenchment is very real.

I do not see how Christie can make it through the GOP primary process unless a lot of Independents and Dems register as R's to vote for him.GannonFan wrote:Chris Christie - as long as he lives until 2016 he gives the GOP a very legitimate chance to win the White House. Mitt Romney, a Mormon of all things, made it through the GOP nomination process, so yes, Christie can certainly make it through as well.

Because the status quo, as it pertains to healthcare in this country, is fucked.AZGrizFan wrote:How about just keeping the status quo? Change, JUST FOR THE SAKE OF CHANGE, is rarely a good thing.
