Ditch the social issues minus abortion.

Push harder for more nuclear power and help solar companies with workable business models (i.e. don't just throw out money to any solar company that helps you with your campaign)

Come up with immigration plan that exposes the democrat party as not being pragmatic about the issue but only wanting demographics to shift in their favor (e.g. allow illegals to get amnesty in return for forfeiting the right to vote for a long time, if not for the rest of their life). Then go from there.

Obliterate the no child left behind act and this ridiculous "every child can be a surgeon" mentality. Make sure all gifted and highly motivated students have a "challenge track" available and don't let it get watered down like AP classes have. Make sure you have the money to pay very knowledgeable teachers (i.e. people with a high level of content knowledge and not those with EDDs in multicultural rainforest pedagogical theory) to teach these classes.

Come up with a workable plan to get health care costs under control and address the looming massive shortage of doctors down the road ASAP.

The GOP as a whole policies and values that most 'mericans agree with but their messaging is horrible and they don't fight back when the MSM projects the looney wing of the party as being the mainstream of the party.

The GOP needs to pound their message and values over and over and over, and fight back hard against the MSM, 0bama, Reid, et al when they label them terrorists, extremists, militants, etc.
