He's the motorcyclist who got hurt in that thing with the gang of motorcyclists surrounding the SUV:

I don't feel sorry for him. Even if his wife was right and he wasn't doing anything other than trying to help one of his pals, he was in a gang of thugs who were acting like thugs and terrifying the guy in the SUV; who had his wife and young child to think about. And let's face it: The fact that he was in that group makes it pretty reasonable to think he himself is a thug. You know if you're riding around on a motorcycle in a gang of guys that's going around being thugs chances are pretty good you're a thug.

I think it likely he earned what he got. No tears shed on my part. Just too bad something similar couldn't have happened to all of his buddies.

Not sure he deserved to get run over. The asshole that pulled right in front of the Rover sure did. The guy who tried to pull him out of the vehicle sure did. The guy who smashed his window with his helmet did. But if this guy was just part of a group doing bike stunts/riding, not sure why he deserved it.

Now, that said, it seems like the driver was justified in protecting himself, his family and his property and I certainly don't agree with the mother who said something to the effect of "this guy in the Range Rover with his rich lifestyle...". Anything after that has to be taken with a grain of salt. I don't care if the guy is in a Bentley or a Taurus, he was being assaulted by the bikers.

When you do stupid, dangerous stuff sometimes you get hurt bad.

I think the bikers picked the wrong guy to fvck with. Too bad a guy got run over but the driver of the car had his family with him.

While I was walking to the store a while ago I thought, "Too bad they didn't pick on a SUV of rednecks coming back from deer hunting complete with rifles and plenty of ammunition. The planet could've been rid of some vermin."

And I meant "rednecks" in a positive way. You know, guys who know what to do with their weapons and are good at hitting what they aim at.

Just don't use "Rednecks" as a team nickname.

It's hard to tell from the video, but if the guy parked a 600 lb bike (while on it) in the path of a 5,000 lb Land Rover that's being assaulted by a few dozen guys intent on inflicting harm I'd say he got what he deserved.

The thug bikers are lucky that the family in the SUV wasn't packing.

And hopefully they can ID as many of the thugs in the video as possible, and revoke driving priveleges for life from them, after they get out of jail

Two got run over. First the guy how pulled in front of him, but JSO is talking about the second guy who got off his bike to help the first guy.

Screw all the bikers. They knew what they were doing...and what they were doing put innocent lives in danger.

If you are a part of that and somehow get hurt, tough luck, you deserved it.

Luckily, this was an Asian family that was assaulted. If it were white family, and a black man was hurt, cities would be burning right now and Jesse & Co. would be beating the drums.

Of course. He's paralyzed for life. How could a decent human not feel sorry for him. Did he deserve it? Maybe. But it doesn't mean that my compassion for another human doesn't feel for his plight.
