You'd think that a man of your size would understand something about food and pricing.

Her math still doesn't make sense...does she really think a full service restaurant does anywhere near the volume of a McDonalds? :dunce:

That was some weak sauce and she should have been called out on her ignorance.

There tons factors...administrative/corporate costs, volume discounts, higher margins on full service meals. Her point still stands.

No, it doesn't.

In the end, her point is to tell businesses that it is the "correct" thing for businesses to do it to raise the minimum wage for workers.

I'm neutral on the minimum wage. Her point is doesn't have to raise prices to the extent that some are letting on. People somehow manage to pull through in higher minimum wage states like Washington and in countries like Denmark.

You're neutral on the minimum wage because you know, after the initial impact, there is no actual benefit (or no real substantial negative effect) of raising it. In the end, the economy adjusts, inflation ticks up slightly, and the buying power of a person making minimum wage does not increase at all. So it's a neat idea, it makes people feel good about themselves when they promote it, but in the end it does nothing to improve the lot of those who make the minimum wage.

Senator Warren doesn't really deserve any props for advocating an economic policy that even you admit doesn't do what she seems to hope it will do.
