This COULD be apocryphal, but whether Trump said/wrote this or not, it nails the nation's complaints about this stupid "law" on the head....

If Donald Trump had ever said anything that intelligent it would be on Fox News (repeated forever)SuperHornet wrote:This COULD be apocryphal, but whether Trump said/wrote this or not, it nails the nation's complaints about this stupid "law" on the head....
I doubt Trump said it, but let's focus on the words, not the voice...Chizzang wrote:If Donald Trump had ever said anything that intelligent it would be on Fox News (repeated forever)SuperHornet wrote:This COULD be apocryphal, but whether Trump said/wrote this or not, it nails the nation's complaints about this stupid "law" on the head....
Instead he is just filing for bankruptcies and running his "gifted" Empire poorly
It's nice to be born a Billionaire

If you have a good job, decent health and private health insurance, enjoy it and STFU.

The problem is, people want this handed to them.![]()
We better start listening to Pelosi, we have to pass it to find out what is in there. We will soon see how big of a pile of shit this legislation is. I will take my myopic view and can tell you it is severely affecting my insurance and certainly not in a good way. My premiums are up a lot more than they typically go up and my high deductible plan nearly tripled it's deductible to go up like it did. I talked with HR and if they hadn't done that, it would have priced it out of most people's reach.
Ask HR how those in the bonus pool are affected.GrizFanStuckInUtah wrote:Cap'n Cat wrote:The Affordable Care Act will be just fine, people. "Obama Care Sucks"... we get it, but it's not really an answer
The United States is waiting and we're getting crickets from the Republicans as far as a real answer
we are precisely where we belong (a self inflicted quagmire)
But they're not in a cage, technically they're in control...houndawg wrote:Chizzang wrote:The Republican Congress has had a really long time to offer up an alternative solution...

Republicans got nothing all they can do is shake the bars of their cage in rage and fling feces at the crowd.
It isn't any wonder that they've been a laughingstock for decades.

They're analogous to the intelligent design crowd who think that if your theory is wrong that means their theory is right when it isn't the same thing at all.Chizzang wrote:But they're not in a cage, technically they're in control...houndawg wrote:

and nothing productive (solution wise) is coming from that side of the fence
It's an astounding opportunity to "show American"
All they're showing us they have no ideas , other than Obama Care Sucks
Sad
You just said it. Rates have gone up every year.AZGrizFan wrote:Cappy,Cap'n Cat wrote:The Affordable Care Act will be just fine, people. If it does not affect you, shut up and let it run its course. Serious question: In 18 years in the credit union industry, our health insurance rates have gone up every year. The lowest I remember is about 6%, with the highest being 11%. This year, the first year of Obamacare, our rates are going up 31%. A 3x increase. Do you think that's a coincidence?
Jesus H. Christ. You're not really THAT stupid, are you?houndawg wrote:You just said it. Rates have gone up every year.AZGrizFan wrote: Cappy,

The point is, gentlemen, that it DOES affect you. It affects EVERYONE, in a NEGATIVE way. Even if you already have healthcare through your employer.mainejeff wrote:+++Cap'n Cat wrote:The Affordable Care Act will be just fine, people. AZ, Cappy will have some serious mental health expenditures coming up, and mj needs some expensive cosmetic surgery on his anus, so you can see why both support other folks paying for their healthcare.AZGrizFan wrote:The point is, gentlemen, that it DOES affect you. 31%. THIRTY ONE PERCENT. How many companies can swallow a 31% increase in healthcare costs and NOT pass on some/all of that increase to their employees? If you two halfwits don't think this law is going to negatively impact the 90% of Americans who ALREADY had healthcare through their employers you're completely clueless.

And that works both ways. If Obamacare is a colossal failure, the conks should reap the rewards next election...if they quit stepping on their dicks shutting down the government.
