When I was a kid there was a water treatment plant next to the golf course I played and we used to go in the main building to use the water fountain. It was about 100 yards of marble and we were in the old golf shoes when they had metal spikes. It was hard to get going, but if you built up any speed you could go 40-50 yards on a good slide.
