Renounce your lips on my furry dick, Conks.

If that was a football team, the U.S. woulda been cut long before the season started. Note even in the Top 50! And this even counts Social Security, target of much BachmannBoehnerConkHate!

Note, too, that many of the most highly-taxed countries on the planet, such as Denmark, Norway and Sweden, routinely appear in the "Happiest Countries" lists. :o :o :o

The chart shows only the top 40 countries with high income tax rates. The US is 55th on the list, while the UK made it in the top 40 (it's 37th). Click here to see the rest of the rankings.

Let's focus only on the international competitiveness side of the story, setting aside the fact that high income tax rates demotivate successful and talented individuals from staying in the country (yes, by talent I also imply acting and the case of Gerard Depardieu).

When talking about international competitiveness income tax rates also play an important role, sometimes even more important than corporate tax rates. I'm particularly happy with this graph as it included employee social security rates to calculate the overall burden, which are often overlooked but still play an important decision-making factor in determining total labour costs for a business (i.e. for an investor).

We are undertaxed and we need to bleed the bloat in the military and feed the children, you whiny Conks fucks.

"Mommy, why did you have children you couldn't afford to feed?"

"Oh, Mommy could afford food but then Mommy wouldn't have any meth. Now go over there and suck that man's dick and make sure he gives you all five dollars. Mommy's jonesing bad."

When roughly 50% of your population has an effective tax rate of 0% (not counting the ones who are in the negative), one should expect the aggregate to be extremely low. :coffee:

Without scouring the numbers does this count the corporate tax rate? And all compliance and regulatory fees & user/consumption taxes (like the gas tax)?

What a meaningless chart. What, you're going to cherry pick some countries out and pretend this is a list of countries that have their act together and ignore all the countries on the list that are in deep shit? GMAFB. :coffee:

Um, Dunce. Did anyone SAY they had their acts together? Perhaps some of them do. Regardless, the US is undertaxed and if any breaks are being handed out, little spectator, they will be to me.

Another thing, douchebag, the chart was put together by KPMG, not the U of Delaware Economics Dept. :dunce:

Go foreclose on a black family's house and leave this to the big kids.

And it's rather well-supported, Hen, when held in the face of the Tax Apocalypse fucks on this board. Drowning in taxes"", they wail! Pffffft. Spoiled fucking people we are. Those fucks should work to get the most out of existing funding rather than conking back.

Government is good. So is taxation.

Corporations? This thread (the one you started) and your little paint by numbers chart only reflects PERSONAL income taxes.

Cappy saw another one of his topics going into the shitter and hijacked his own thread. :notworthy:

But those count for the 50% who don't pay federal income tax too right?

The last two sentences of the fifth paragraph are key, in my view. You just can't tax your way out of a depression without wasting human capital and other resources.

And, as the last paragraph recognizes, Belgium (French for "felchum") is a basket case.
