A Catholic priest admitted to a psychiatrist he had molested more than 100 boys, including his 5-year-old brother, had sex with male prostitutes and visited gay strip clubs while serving in a Californian parish for years, according to explosive documents released overnight.
Ruben Martinez's vile confessions are among nearly 2,000 pages of secret church documents on a dozen religious order priests, brothers and nuns accused of sexually abusing children while working in the Los Angeles archdiocese over several decades.
The papers, released under the terms of a $660 million settlement agreement reached in 2007, are the first glimpse at what religious orders knew about the men and women they posted in Roman Catholic schools and parishes around LA.

D, I honestly don't know why you keep acting like this is something new that should startle everybody. Everybody already knows that the Catholic Church, by virtue of not opening up the Priesthood to normal heterosexual males, has a problem with a bunch of homosexuals in the Priesthood.
They say you can't have women and you're going to live with a other men. Duh.

Homosexuality aint the issue, pedophilia is. Yes the church has turned into a homosexual Disneyland, but it's the secrecy, ironically the homophobia and immoral protection of wealth over the welfare of children that has created this mess.
Apply the latter issues to any org and you'll have a problem.

It's homosexuality. Not entirely, but the overwhelming preponderance is. Take the story you're referencing. It's all about boys. If it was just "pedophilia" it wouldn't be all about boys. If the only thing is you want sex with children there should be no preference shown for one particular sex.

Almost all priests are gay, so the percentage is probably pretty low, but higher than the catholic-funded "studies" and Bill "Joltin Joe" Donahue would like you to believe.
