Nancy Mace, one of The Citadel’s first two female graduates, is expected to announce Saturday that she will challenge U.S. Sen. Lindsey Graham in next June’s GOP primary.

Mace has indicated she may run and said Thursday she will make her decision known Saturday morning at the Berkeley County GOP breakfast meeting in Goose Creek.

I'd probably vote for her. And probably would hit it, too....

Anything to get rid of the RINO Lindsey Graham....

I'll probably vote for her. Lindsey is well established and it won't be easy but I know a few guys that don't want women in the corps and they have voiced their support

I wish her the best. She's got to be better than Graham.

No shot and I'm guessing she knows that. But you have to get started somewhere.

She has her good points and her bad points.

She talks a tough conservative game, but she has moments in her past when she was more than willing to play the girl card.

Not sure who I would vote for, but I'm definitely not happy with Graham right now.

The idea of you voting for a woman is (frankly) hysterical...

Huh? Why?

I'd vote for anybody with a little common sense, woman or not.

It's been a long time since I had the opportunity.

I don't know... it just struck me as funny
Probably because there's no such thing as an intelligent Republican female (and I'm including Super Hornet)
For some reason when women become conservative they also become insane

I agree. Just look at Nancy Pelosi, Sheila Jackson Lee, and -- oh wait. Never mind.

One thing I can say about Nancy- she's whip smart and very level headed.

Interestingly enough, I'm sure she had considered politics in the back of her mind, but if Graham hadnt ticked her off she likely wouldn't be running at all.

Graham is well established. I've spoken to a few citadel grads that were in school with her and they are on board. She's begun reaching out to The Citadel.

El Cid is a small school with a small living alumni base (maybe only around 20K), but in SC it is one of the most powerful political blocs when it wants to be.

If she gets the alumni fully behind her Graham will have a fight on his hands.

Chizzy, you're half right. ALL women in politics are insane just like all women are insane.

The sooner we remember that women are a life support for a pussy, and not much more, the better off we'll be.

I'm not sure I have a strong argument against that

Nancy Boy!

"Lindsey Graham challenger retweets ‘Nancy boy’

Sen. Lindsey Graham’s primary challenger retweeted a tweet that calls him “Nancy boy,” according to the Sunlight Foundation’s Politwoops, which monitors politicians’ deleted tweets.
Nancy Mace on Tuesday tweeted: “RT @PaulSteel4: @nancymace we support you here in Florida. Nancy Mace vs Nancy boy graham.”

“Nancy boy” is an early 20th century term, often considered derogatory, for an effeminate or homosexual man.
Mace, who announced on Saturday she will be challenging Graham in the primary, deleted the tweet after 10 minutes, Politwoops said. Mace’s account is not a verified account.
The Mace campaign did not return calls for a comment."

Not at all- she's right. But you know some clowns will try to use it against her.
