Empirical Fact: "Many catholic priests are gay"

Like we didn't know this. The catholic church is for all practical purposes a "gay corporation." From the pope on down, it's leadership is predominately gay and Francis' comments of late can certainly be construed as an admission of this fact - finally the catholics can quit lying.
Now maybe they can also quit blackmailing each other and start turning in the thousands of pedophiles and sadists still on payroll and in your church to the police without fear of losing their job.

The notion that many Catholic priests are quietly gay is not new. In the 2000 book "The Changing Face of the Priesthood," Rev. Donald B. Cozzens suggested that the priesthood was increasingly becoming a gay profession. Cozzens estimated that as much as 58 percent of priests were gay, and that percentages were even higher for younger priests. His numbers matched previous estimates by sociologists who put the numbers of gay priests between 10 and 60 percent.
Father Gary Meier, a gay, St. Louis-based Catholic clergymen, says there's a wide range of statistics out there on gay priests, but jokes that in his experience, "30 percent are gay, 30 percent are straight, and 30 percent are in denial."

Well, I'm glad you see what the problem is. But the correct term is "homosexual." If you use the term "gay" you're being pulled into the intentional mind control effort that includes getting people to stop using the term "homosexual."
It really is a shame that the culture has allowed commandeering a word that is supposed to mean "happy" to describe homosexuals because homosexuals don't want to be described as what they are (homosexuals).

Well, bigot fuck, the "problem" aint homosexuality, it's the secretive culture of silence coupled with blatant bigotry against gays in the church. When all of your priests are fucking each other or fucking other men or male prostitutes, they all can rat on each other and lose their jobs and the power that comes with it - so they remain silent. When a priest is a pedophile, the silence continues. This dangerous alliance is exasperated further by a Teflon and immoral hierarchy who will do anything to protect the assets and profile of the organization. This actually then attracts pedophiles to the profession.
I you're a pedophile the absolute best job in the world is a catholic priest.

You just want to use the word "faggot" and not be referring to the funny fellas down the road.
