I didn't watch it....but I voted for Ron Paul the last 2 elections. I think he would have been umpteen times better president than anyone else mentioned.

I didn't watch either, but I'm going to guess he didn't receive enough popular votes to get the electoral votes to win the office. :coffee:

I actually watched the whole thing during my lunch break. My eyebrows went up at the "modern-day John F. Kennedy" reference at the beginning. That gave me a jaundiced view of the rest of the piece. Good job of assembling pro-Paul sound bites, though.

Interesting to compare the MSM treatment of John Anderson back in 1980. When I saw Anderson "live" at Harvard back in 1979 or so, there couldn't have been more than 15 students in the room. But then the media discovered him, picked up on his relatively progessive band of Republicanism, boosted his crowds, and gave him a swelled head. When I saw Anderson again in Delaware over a year later, he was running as an independent and attracted a bunch of the chablis-and-brie Nixon-hating crowd. Anderson ended up getting, what, 6% of the vote?

I voted for John Anderson in 1980 and I neither drank chablis NOR ate brie. I did, however, hate Nixon. :coffee:
