He's been an average president, if not a little weak. He got the ACA in, but Congress' been able to step all over him in regards to almost everything else. He's fairly intelligent, but hasn't been very imposing as a politician.

Neither G. W. Bush nor Obama is an idiot. I do think the general perception of Bush's intelligence is probably an underestimate and that of Obama's is an over estimate. But both probably have IQs higher than at least 90% of the general population.

With Bush there is some decent evidence for that. If you estimate his IQ from his SAT score you get about 130. Not a genius but at about the 97th or 98th percentile.

With Obama we have no clue because it's impossible to find the results of any test he took that can be used to estimate IQ. It's difficult because, though we know he got into some prestigious universities, we also know that he could've gotten in with lower scores, etc., because he's a member of an "under represented minority."

Call me suspicious but I suspect that the reason there is no available information on Obama standardized tests scores is that his actual scores are not consistent with that "smartest guy in the room" perception.

I feel compelled to defend Obama. Many other Presidents were bigger. He is not an idiot, although many over estimate his intelligence. He is however one of, if not the worst. President. ever.
