I didn't follow the trial, so I'm not sure what to think about this. Looking back to when the case first hit the streets, though, I could see arguments both ways on this. On the one hand, the defendant seems to be a two-bit weasel who tried to use a poorly worded law to justify going out and offing someone. On the other hand, there seems to be evidence that the victim was a thug who had SOMETHING of a comeuppance due, though certainly nothing of this sort.
The whole case just seems to be a can of worms for the race baiters of the world, either way. Of course, I'm the guy who still thinks Simpson is innocent.

I bet AL Sharpton and Jessee Jackson try to get Holder to use the DOJ to bring some trumped up civil rights charged against Zimmerman.

Zimmerman will have to move out of FL. Gotta figure the jurors' identities will be outed. Can't be good for them as they all live in FL.

This may not be over. I'm hearing reports that DOJ is considering federal charges. IMO, that would amount to double jeopardy, but since when has Obama gone by the rule of law?

This makes no sense....there are literally millions of black after dark people that make it home every night of the year. Nah, the real moral of the story is do not physically attack someone or you might get yourself killed. There's precedent for that, too. How many wannabe punks will this make think twice about jumping someone? Now they know they might get shot and, hopefully, their family will be too embarrassed to say stupid things, such as, "why did my son's victim get set free for simply defending himself"?
