Do you honestly believe that these Border Patrol agents just walked up and smashed the window for no reason? In one clip you can see them talking to the driver, which he has conveniently muted. That fact, and the fact that you posted this, goes to discredit the video. Secondly, do you realize that these Border Patrol agents have to deal with scum and up tight Americans? Would you want your image captured so you can be hunted?

This is very true. Don't screw around with someone that has the legal authority to detain you.

So, a guy drives up to your house, has his car rigged with multiple cameras, and begins photographing you for no reason and you don't think you'd get an itchy trigger finger?
He obviously had an agenda, and conveniently doesn't show ANYTHING that led up to the breaking of the window. That motherfucker does that at MY house and they'll find him in a shallow grave out behind the house. I wouldn't be nearly as kind to him as those border agents were.

I go thru multiple border patrol check points yearly. Just went thru one Monday night. They have always been professional, nice and usually good looking

Those are actors. They lull you into a false sense of security and normalcy. Beware and Be Aware.

I agree that we saw that out of context but I do think law enforcement has too much authority to get rough with people. I know a lot of people think it's necessary but we're supposed to be operating on the premise that people are innocent until proven guilty.
When this subject comes up I always recall a video I saw of this guy watering some plants in his front yard with a hose when the police drive up. They start yelling at him and he's asking what's going on and didn't immediately comply with their orders. So they jump all over him and beat the crap out of him.
Turns out they went to the wrong house and beat the crap out of a totally innocent guy.
No. Citizens of the United States should not HAVE to immediately comply with the orders of agents of the State or else get roughed up. And if that makes it tougher on police to do their jobs that's the way it is. Agents of the State should not be able to order you around. Period. The end does not justify the means.
And if that guy in the video turns out to be innocent of any crime the law enforcement agency involved should have to pay for his window AND it should come out of the paychecks of the officers involved.
I've had that happen to me before too. Law enforcement guys went through my vehicle and broke things. They didn't find anything and I wasn't convicted of anything. But did I get reimbursed for the damage they did? Of course not. That's a big problem. If they knew they would have to pay for damage they do when no crime is involved they might behave a little differently.
They bust down somebody's door and end up not finding anything they personally should have to pay for the door. So on and so forth.
