Portland fluoride: For the fourth time since 1956, Portland voters reject fluoridation

It seems stupid to spend $1 million fighting over fluoride.

Is that where you live so you don't have to drink it?

Exp, I know you're sincere about this and maybe last time you brought fluoridation of drinking water up we were too patronizing.

But there really isn't any hazard to adding fluoride to drinking water in a controlled fashion. It's not a "poison" in the concentrations involved.

BTW I'm wondering, do you think the people of Portland have a problem with the fact that their drinking water is disinfected with chlorine (see http://www.portlandoregon.gov/water/article/327648" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;)? You know chlorine can be pretty damned poisonous in sufficient concentration.

Also, do you drink tea or eat leafy vegetables? They have evil fluoride in them. Enough in fact that they have been shown to protect teeth from decay.

I guess Portland deserves a book like this one!
