All that for a damn flag?

Post by CitadelGrad »

Yes, Moochelle. All that for a damn flag.

This pic says everything you need to know about the character of our current president and that of his predecessor.

And yet he seems less disgusted by all the innocents and American citizens he has killed with drones. And even less disgusted by the deaths of four Americans in Benghazi, without lifting a finger to help them.

First that picture is one snapshot in time. You can believe that Obama's look shows disgust, sadness, or whatever but there is no context to be sure of anything. He might have hugged the woman before or after Bush. We don't know from one picture.

Second, both Presidents are complicit in foreign adventures that have placed our troops in harms way and put civilians at risk. To pretend that your guy is the good guy and the other guy is the bad guy is blindly partisan.

I don't think he looks disgusted at all. Looks to me like he is trying to be solemn, or maybe he blinked at the exact moment the picture was taken. Hard to say what is really happening there.

Maybe he looks disgusted because Bush is kissing a woman other than his wife. One President is faithful to his wife, the other is a cheat.

I'm sure Bathhouse Barry has never touched another woman. What he does in those bath houses is a different matter altogether.

I'm not a Republican and I don't think Bush was much of a president, but this isn't about the kind of presidents they are and were. This is about the kind of people they are.

When we started dropping bombs on Iraq, I remember a whitehouse correspondent reporting that Bush chose to go to bed that night rather watch. :thumb:

Afghanistan...yes.

Iraq...no.

We would have went into Afghanistan no matter what. But Bush and his cronies started Iraq on their own accord. The Bush administration gets 100% of the blame for that.

Isn't she like, at least as far as the "worship the flag" purists go, desecrating it or something?

She is, and Bush is kissing her because of it. Clearly Obama is disgusted that Bush is having an extra marital affair with a woman who is desecrating the flag. ;)
